About This Role

Are you passionate about purpose-driven fundraising and building sustainable support for meaningful work? The Stoic Fellowship is looking for a volunteer Fundraising Specialist to help design and lead campaigns that fuel our mission to support Stoic communities worldwide.

In this role, you’ll craft messaging, identify opportunities, and collaborate with other volunteers to build a thoughtful, values-aligned fundraising strategy. Whether you're experienced in nonprofit development or just excited to help grow the movement, your efforts will directly support our long-term impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute fundraising campaigns that align with TSF’s mission and values
  • Collaborate with volunteers across content, design, and outreach to bring campaigns to life
  • Identify and research prospective donors, grant opportunities, or sponsorship leads
  • Help develop donor communications, thank-you messages, and fundraising materials
  • Track performance of campaigns and share results with the team
  • Contribute to the development of a long-term fundraising and donor engagement strategy
  • Maintain alignment with Stoic virtues—especially wisdom, justice, and courage—in all fundraising communications

Ideal Qualities

  • Passion for Stoicism and belief in supporting communities that promote human flourishing
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to inspire action with clarity and integrity
  • Experience with fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit development (a plus, but not required)
  • Organized and self-directed, with the ability to follow through on multi-step initiatives
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and asynchronously with a remote team
  • Strategic thinker with an eye for storytelling, campaign planning, or donor stewardship

Time Commitment

This is a flexible volunteer role. We ask for a commitment of 5-10 hours per month, depending on campaign cycles or special initiatives. Both short-term support and ongoing involvement are welcome.
